The journey began in 1996 and the company was formed in 2023 by industry creative lifers Aliethea D’Angelo and Eduardo D’Angelo.  As great admirers of 1990s cinema and believers in craft over algorithms, this mother-son team alongside the vast extended on and off-set family of ELO96 champions the entire process from Development to Screen and everything in between.  Every single person commands a career that spans decades and has merged forces to guarantee quality across the multi-platform universe.

Aliethea D'Angelo is a first-generation American born to a truck driver from Repubblica di San Marino and a Jill of all-trades mother from South Carolina. Because of their love of film and TV, they named her Aliethea after a Jodie Foster character and the rest, as they say, is history.  She's a dedicated Producer, Director, and Writer with a long-standing career in entertainment. From the moment she stepped on set she has never looked back.

From celebrity outlets to intimate independents, Aliethea has a unique cognitive approach to all aspects of her work. She embraces the creative and the practical simultaneously, which inspires confidence in the cast, crew, and investors alike.

Her first independent project, "L'Une et L'Autre," premiered at Cannes in '07, and she has since gone on to have several features and shorts viewed worldwide. She has worked

in-house or collaborated with Paramount, NBC, and Netflix. In 2023 alone, she was involved in the docu-series "Leguizamo Does America"; created a development department for EB; Executive Produced "Misdirection" in Serbia, starring Olga Kurylinko and Frank Grillo; "The Disruptors", starring Marc Evan Jackson, and "Paint", starring Heather Matarazzo and Callum Blue, were released on Apple TV and Amazon. Aliethea is writing a WW2 picture and with the mounting accolades bestowed on her script "Things We Leave Behind", the project is now in

pre-production.

With her plethora of experience, it was time to create her biggest dream, a family-owned company,  ELO96.

Eduardo D'Angelo is a half-Mexican Los Angeles native

raised in the entertainment industry by a single mom and her friends on set. Wanting to make his way he started down the path of an actor in multiple national commercials, and then on to roles in TV shows: CBS/Jerry Bruckheimer hit “Without a Trace”,  20th Century FOX "Terminator" and skits on Jimmy Kimmel live.

By the age of eighteen Eduardo set off to New York City where he studied at the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning Atlantic Acting School and embarked on a stint in theater starring in Much Ado About Nothing and Infinite Black Suitcase. Shortly after, Eduardo landed at Emerson College

in Boston where he gained a Marketing BA., graduating while with Honors.

Since returning home he has held in-house positions at Ramona Films, Untitled Entertainment, and Mega Hit. Additionally, he has created numerous creative briefs for multi-platform brand recognition, developed scripts, and conceptualized stories in the gaming world while keeping a focus on IP to bring under the umbrella at ELO96.
